BioWho am I? Well, I guess it really depends on who you ask. To some, I am a Mudblood. To others, I am a know it all. I will not deny the fact that I have a thirst for knowledge which is never totally quenched. I do not know everything, although I'm sure that there are those who would beg to differ with that statement.
Knowledge is a funny thing. Too little knowledge can be dangerous, but so can too much knowledge. I know.
Over the years, my quest for knowledge has not ended and I do not plan that it ever will. But I have also learned that there are more important things in life. Books and cleverness are nothing compared to friendship and bravery. If I had to give up one of the precious gifts that life has given me, if I had to choose the vast expanse of knowledge or my friendships, both of which I have acquired over the years, my friendships are much more precious and much longer lasting.
I have learned much over the years, but one of the things I learned which surprised me the most was that not all the answers are found in books. Advice? Yes. Stories about experiences? Yes. But these can't tell you what you need to know or how to handle certain situations. Sometimes you have to follow your heart and your instincts.
Before we embarked on this quest to find the Horcruxes, Ron and I finally kissed and told each other how we feel. But, for better or for worse, I told him that we would need to put our feelings aside knowing the trials that we would have to face. I believe I made the right decision; I was being practical. But I usually am. Maybe that's my problem. I don't know where things stand between Ron and I now, but I look forward to exploring the possibilities when the war is over.

What I have been doing the past 9 months?
My life in general:
The past months have been very busy for me. One thing I learned is that life didn't get any easier after we defeated Voldemort on Halloween. After my parents heard about my 'adventures' at Hogwarts, they wanted me to return to the Muggle world. I knew that I couldn't do that, so I made a very difficult decision and went to live at the Burrow, becoming estranged from them. During the estrangement, I was very thankful for Nana, because she was always there when I needed her. Sadly, my relationship with my father was never resolved. He died in February, but one good thing that came out of it was the fact that my mum and I are close again.
My friendship with Harry -
After the final battle, Harry and Ron were both very supportive of me and in fact they came to rescue me from my parents' house in November. Our friendship became strained in January when he and Ginny eloped. Ron and I were both very hurt that they didn't include us in the ceremony, but that's water under the bridge now. I don't see Harry very much anymore since he and Ginny are living in Godric's Hollow, so I kind of miss that. We found out in March that they going to be parents, when we were preparing for their wedding reception.
My relationship with Ron -
As it always has been, it's been a roller coaster. Thanks to Lavender Brown, we broke up for a month in January, and the fight finally ended with us making love for the first time on Valentine's day. Ron has really shown me a different side to him. He gave me a promise ring in March and in May he proposed. We hadn't planned to marry for a year, but due to the Azkaban breakout we moved it up to August. We recently found out that we are expecting a baby as well, so the decision was a good one.
My life in the Wizarding World -
I successfully completed my Animagus training and can turn into a fox. I was working for Charlie at the reserve trying to find out who was taking the dragon scales. Unfortunately we're no closer to finding that out and because of the pregnancy I'm not allowed to transform.
After receiving all O's on my NEWTs, with the exception of Defence, I was offered a job as an Unspeakable at the Ministry. I am allowed 6 weeks maternity leave, but I have a feeling I have a difficult decision to make as to whether i will return to work or stay at home and raise our child.
I want to thank Natalie for making my wonderful icons. She did a great job!
